CEO of animation studio ‘Parovoz’ Anton Smetankin:
‘We came to an idea to create a musical spin-off ‘Leo and Tig. Magic Songs’ together with our partners from ‘Digital Television’ company when ‘Mult-music’ channel appeared. We comprehended how badly children needed music videos. We suppose that the animated series will be appreciated by children and parents who enjoy both modern and traditional kid’s music. The cartoon will also become a present for those fans of ‘Leo and Tig’ for whom the main story of the characters is not enough.
Our project is a test case and if audience like it, we can launch similar musical spin-offs for other cartoons of the studio’.
General Producer of TV-channel ‘Moolt’ Tatiana Tsivareva:
‘Animated series ‘Leo and Tig‘ has become popular with young audience right after its release in 2016 as a part of news-reel ‘MULT in cinema’ launch. Gradually the story about two inseparable friends has become famous not only in Russia, but also abroad. In 2020 the rights to broadcast it were purchased by Piwi+ (France), Star Channel (Greece), Spacetoon International (Middle East).
